    Oakwood Primary Academy is a thriving primary school, situated in the heart of Willingdon Trees. We provide a nurturing and inspiring education for just over 300 pupils currently on roll, ranging from our onsite Nursery and Early Years Foundation Stage Village through to our oldest children in Year 6.

    Is your child due to start school in September 2026?

    Oakwood Primary Academy are thrilled to invite you to come and view our school on Thursdays throughout October. We'll be offering small-group, guided tours at these times, alongside our headteacher and senior leaders. Key dates are also available to meet our SENCo.

    We look forward to welcoming you on one of these dates:

    Thursday 2nd October: 09:00, 11:15 or 17:00.
    (Tours with our SENCo, Mrs Wood, will also be running at 5pm).

    Thursday 9th October: 09:00

    Thursday 16th October: 09:00

    Tuesday 21st October: 17:00
    (Tours with our SENCo, Mrs Wood, will also be running at 5pm).

    Thursday 23rd October: 17:00
    (Tours with our SENCo, Mrs Wood, will also be running at 5pm).

    Tuesday 4th November: 09:00, 11:15 or 17:00.

    Additional dates for tours by request also include:

    • In Year Admissions Oakwood Primary Academy participates in the Local Authority's in-year co-ordinated admissions scheme. If you wish to apply for a place at our school outside the normal point of entry (ie not for Reception),use this link to the council's website:
